Our Story

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Sabrina is a senior undergraduate Honors student and Maxwell Leadership Scholar majoring in Citizenship & Civic Engagement, Geography, and Environment Sustainability & Policy. On campus, Sabrina is a Research Fellow at the Lender Center for Social Justice, a STOP Bias & Hate Peer Educator, and a Resident Advisor. A part of the Slice Consulting team since Fall 2022, Sabrina has worked as a consultant, project manager, professional development chair, and now as the VP of Client Relations. In this role, she focuses on expanding Slice’s project portfolio and professional development opportunities while championing the organization’s mission to create lasting, value-driven impact for both students and clients.

Joy is a senior majoring in Policy Studies and Television, Radio, & Film, with a minor in Information Management & Technology. At Syracuse, she is involved in the Renée Crown Honors Program, Newhouse Peer Advising, and Fetch Collective Magazine. She also co-founded and runs the video production agency Reel Talk on campus. Recently, she has been named a 2025-26 Remembrance Scholar. Since joining Slice in the Fall of 2023, she has served as consultant, project manager, recruitment chair, and VP of Recruitment. As Vice President of Marketing, she hopes to use visual design and storytelling to make Slice’s presence known, and to celebrate the achievements of the organisation.

Elisa Flynn is a senior dual-major in Policy Studies and Journalism with a minor in Spanish. She is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and has served in Slice for two years, working as a consultant, fundraising chair, and now, VP of Finance. Apart from Slice, Elisa has served as a research consultant for Feeding New York State and as a manager for Skills Win!, where she taught Syracuse city district students professional skills not covered in their curriculum. This year, Elisa hopes to grow Slice more than ever before and bring new opportunities to its members that align with Slice’s mission to help communities and organizations grow.
